Romantic Candlelit Wedding at the Trailside Events Center, Peoria IL
All the months of planning and leading up to this was so so worth it.
Sydney and Kyle could not stop raving about how amazing their wedding was. Meeting at Illinois Central College in Peoria, these two were immediately inseparable. They both fell in love with the community that Peoria IL has to offer and wanted to emphasize that on their wedding day by adventuring out in Peoria Heights with their bridal party for an Ice Cream break at Emack & Bolio’s. This scored extra points with ya girl, ‘cause Emack’s is my favorite place.
Kyle started his day at their new house with his guys and best friend, Alby. Alby didn’t leave his side while getting ready. Sydney started her day at Corpo Bello Salon in Peoria with her bridesmaids being treated with mimosas, a relaxing way to start the morning. Arriving at Trailside Event Center, it was exactly how Sydney dreamed it to be with the string lights and natural lighting. LeFleur Floral Design nailed the bouquet and boutonnières with a classic ivory color scheme.
I want to be your Taco Bell Couple.
Yep, Kyle and Sydney wanted to make a stop to Taco Bell during bridal formals. This was Sydney’s only request the whole day. They shared a private moment alone after all the formalities of the wedding day, over a Nacho BellGrande. No one seemed to bat an eye at the bride and groom in the Taco Bell - because, duh, they would go there on their wedding day too. No shame.
The sweetness didn’t stop at the reception - While Sydney and her Dad danced, Sydney’s sister Katie sang “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. Katie has been singing for as long as she could talk, so this moment was incredibly special for not only Sydney, but their friends and family as well.
Every couple stresses about their reception being a total flop - no dancing and people leaving early. Sydney & Kyle’s reception was an absolute party until closing. I’ve never seen so many people left over at the end of the night to clean up.
