The Cultivate Experience is a one day workshop based in Bloomington, IL. The focus of this workshop is to push photographers past their “natural light” boundaries. Being in the wedding biz, we may not have control over weather which leads us to shooting inside. *collective gasp* Unleash that fearless badass that’s hiding with the natural light.
While practicing posing and using inside spaces to our advantage is super important, so much more goes into a photography business than just great images. Make Instagram your bitch. Instagram is the leading platform for bookings, learning how it works is crucial. Once you conquer this, there’s no stopping you!!
This workshop features FOOD - YUM. It will also feature two shoots - one engagement, one wedding - with real couples and authentic connection. USE THE IMAGES HOW YOU PLEASE! hi, I’m kenzie.
When I started to take my business seriously, no one else did. I reached out to other photographers without response. When I started, community wasn’t a thing - everyone was competition. Forget that noise. I don’t think anyone should have to learn the “hard way” or feel around in the dark. I said screwwww that and got my Bachelors degree in photography. I realized that this knowledge shouldn’t be limited to expensive institutions, so I went on to get my Master’s degree in Education.
HERE I AM, TAKING THE KNOWLEDGE OUT OF THE INSTITUTION AND RECREATING IT AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE FOR EVERYONE.
College isn’t for everyone. Everyone has a right to learn, not just the elite.
I am not a know-it-all. I don’t hold all the answers to photography. I don’t have 100K following on Instagram. I just talked you out of coming to Cultivate, didn’t I? BABY COME BACK.
BUT I do have consistent bookings. I am constantly receiving emails from couples saying that I stood out because I am creating images that they’ve never seen before. I am receiving emails saying they’ve been following my Instagram since before they were engaged, now here they are booking me for their wedding.
